Frank Murphy will speak about the origins of the University of Tennessee Knoxville's Anthropological Research Facility, also known as the Body Farm. His presentation includes audio of Dr. Bass speaking and photos showing the stages of decomposition. For many years, Murphy served as emcee for famed forensic anthropologist Dr. William M. Bass. He assisted Dr. Bass during presentations about famous cases detailed in the books by Dr. Bass and author Jon Jefferson.

Frank's background is in broadcasting. He has interviewed Dr. Bass many times on radio and on television. Frank can be heard on B97.5 radio and he can be seen on East Tennessee PBS as host and head writer of Tennessee Scholars' Bowl.
