NIOTA - With an eye toward the future, the McMinn County Economic Development Authority Board of Directors held a retreat on Wednesday.
The primary purpose of the retreat, held at Springbrook Golf & Country Club, was to define and target industrial sectors for recruitment efforts in McMinn County. Millie Callaway, senior consultant with the Tennessee Valley Authority, facilitated the event and organized several brainstorming sessions.
Callaway began the program with an economic development overview and slide presentation, during which she called McMinn County a "rich logistic location" for industrial recruitment. Read More
